Cross Country Skiing in the Dolomites
The Seiser Alm and the Ski Area Carezza offer of wide range of cross-country skiing trails for cross-country skiers in a fascinating natural landscsape with an outstanding view across the mountain scenery.
Sledding and Tubogganing in the Dolomites
In the Ski Area Carezza parallel to the ski slope “Hubertus”, there is a sledding slope. To reach the start of the slope you can use the nearby Hubertus lift. Other tobogganing slopes can be found between Nigerpass and Messner-Joch and Nigerpass and St. Zyprian. From the small lake “Völser Weiher” you can walk to the “Tuffalm” and then enjoy sledging down.
Winter-hiking
Untouched nature, eye-catching views to the Dolomites with its mountain peaks Langkofel, Plattkofel, Schlern and Rosengarten, sunny winter days: you’ll very much enjoy winter walks and snowshoe walking in the holiday region Seiser Alm. This area contains a network of around 60 kilometres of perfectly groomed winter hiking trails and 50 kilometers of and marked snow shoe paths.
Ice-skating
In Tiers you’ll find a great ice-skating rink that can be used free of charge. There is also a place nearby where you can have a warm drink (check opening hours). According to the weather situation, there are also some small lakes in the surroundings which can be used for ice skating.
