Hiking and climbing

Our village offers a broad spectrum of hiking routes, from easy walks to challenging mountaineering. A network of walking-trails in the Nature Reserve leads up to more than 2500 m above sea-level. Choose among many wonderful tracks and routes, and you will be rewarded for strenuous climbs with splendid panoramic views of the surrounding mountain scenery.

Fixed-rope routes

It is worth trying a climb on a fixed-rope route! The Rosengarten area offers several alternatives. Various rock-climbing schools (“Alpinschulen”) supply experienced guides. You many rent the necessary equipment free of charge. Try this unforgettable adventure!

Rock-climbing

Our region is an Eldorado for rock-climbers! Several climbing-tours with varying degrees of difficulty are available. Not far from our hotel there are two practice rocks for training and instruction, and several more such climbing rocks are available at Karerpass. For beginners, a number of “Alpinschulen” (instruction centres) offer introductory courses.

Mountain-biking

Those who wish to mountainbike in the Dolomites will, of course, need stamina. Mountain bikers may explore a number of high mountain-passes and enjoy spectacular panoramic views, all in an environment-friendly way.

Playing golf

Also in our region playing golf is becoming increasingly popular. In our surroundings there are two excellently maintained and challenging golf courts.
