The Tschamin Valley

The entrance to the romantic and unspoiled Tschamin Valley is just a few minutes away from our Hotel.
The German writer Heinrich Noe wrote already in 1880 : “ There is no more beautiful and wild valley in the Limestone Alps than the Tschamin Valley”.
Until now its natural beauty is untouched and in 2009 it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Tschamin Valley is situated in between the Mount Schlern and the footholls of the “Tschaminspitzen”. After about 1 ½ hour walk, you reach a small meadow, followed swoon after by a larger meadow called: Rechter Leger” . This is a beautiful place to make a rest and enjoy the spectacular view. The place is surrounded by the most stunning mountains. From here you’ll reach the mountain hut “Grasleiten Hütte” in about 1 1T2 hour or the mountain hut “Tierser Alpl HütteE in around 2 hours.
